Milford's Village shop, Restaurants and pubs cater for all pockets and tastes.
Derby City offers both boutique and shopping mall experiences, with markets and Royal Crown Derby Pottery in the centre. Or take a drive out to the factory shops at Matlock Bath, Belper or the exclusive John Smedley knitwear and Denby Pottery.
Independent cinemas can be found at the Ritz in Belper (with its sofa seats and wine holders!) and QUAD centre for Art and Film in Derby's Cathedral Quarter.
